Shelter Hall, Skylark Bar

We booked a private room (200) at Shelter Hall for an evening team event. The room was excellent with great views onto the beach. Ordering was super easy using the app, everyone really appreciated being able to order from whatever vendor they preferred rather than having a single set menu. There were 9 of us in the room. The service for drinks and food was friendly and efficient. The food was enjoyed by everyone, no wastage, everyone ate everything and complimented the dish they'd chosen. I thought the price of the food was good value for money, especially given the taste, quality and service.

This is a great place if you want a lot of choices! Unusually for a good food hall you can book in advance, which I highly recommend you do. Also what’s great is once you’re seated you order the food via a QR code on the table and the food comes to you. You can order as much or as little as you want, you just order as and when you want to. That also includes drinks. You pay as you go, so for larger groups it means you can pay for just what you eat. There is a DJ in the evening which gives it a great vibe. Staff are friendly and efficient. 10/10

Amazing food. We went back for seconds on the honey ginger fries at Coqfighter! Guinness and ciders are delicious, as well as the pizza and goat rice bowls. We can’t wait to go back - it’s a must! Great atmosphere!
