I would highly recommend this hotel. My room was quirky and cosy and the full English breakfast was delicious. I don't sleep well in hotels and on the first night mentioned that I'd left by beloved Yorkshire bedtime tea at home so the following evening found 2 teabags in an envelope placed under my door. I slept like a baby so a huge thank you to Lauren (hotel reception) for keeping her promise and said tea delivering me to a much needed 8 hours of sleep. It was very much appreciated. 🥰

Just went for Sunday lunch. Lovely dining room and pleasant staff. Had the Sunday roast beef--plentiful plate of food! Banana bread and rum and raisin a nice dessert. Felt rather full when I left! Hoping to try the Thursday musical evenings next.

Hotel aloud people to wonder around coridoor past 11 pm singing songs,I believe ground floor rooms were used as toilets for party they held this night, not sure why they put guests in this floor who needs to get up at 6am following morning to go to work. Tried to ring reception for 10 minutes no answer to deal with it. Very poor organisation skills.
