Renaissance London Heathrow Hotel, Windsor Suite

There’s so much positive to say about this hotel. We stayed before, and again after, a 3 week holiday and it was just what you’d want. The staff were excellent, explaining things clearly and being really helpful. This was exemplified on our return to the hotel after the holiday and long haul flight home to the UK. We arrived at the hotel at 0800 - we really hoped our room would be ready and it was! In fact within 1:15 mins of landing we were ensconced in the clean, comfortable room and able to get some much needed sleep. We had needed unexpectedly some assistance as my husband became poorly on arrival at the Terminal. The hotel was absolutely marvellous. Nothing was too much trouble and I have to mention Jester from the Concierge who helped us quickly and efficiently. He was brilliant, helping my husband who was exhausted and needed this assistance. Jester was great, he was very reassuring and so willing to help us on our arrival and when we left the next day. I’d also highly recommend this hotel for its ease of holiday car parking (plus easy to use EV car charging), rooms with comfortable beds and grandstand views of the runway to see the many planes arriving and departing (you could hear that it was but easily manageable). The restaurant and food choice were just what you need. Highly recommended.

I was a bit nervous after reading some Of the reviews about how dirty this hotel is. I’m my experience, it was not at all. The hotel massive - but only a few floors. The staff was incredibly attentive and engaged. I was warmly welcomed by the front desk and they will very thorough with check in. I then dined in their restaurant- not the bar. I ordered a steak and subbed vegetables. I had low expectations, because hotel food. However the food was platted well and quite tasty and cooked to perfection. I used the gym in the morning. It does need an upgraded as it’s very dated and has an odd configuration. I was the only person using at 4am so it was easy to navigate but with more than one person it’s a tight squeeze. I rarely stay at airport hotels but the value and return of investment here was well worth it.
