As part of any visit, all guests have access to explore the Georgian House and extensive grounds including the magnificent State Floor, well-trodden corridors of Below Stairs and impressive array of gardens.
To further enhance your visit, we also offer a range of tours covering the House and Gardens on offer.
The State Dining Room centres around a grand mahogany table with a striking central candlelabra and some of Chippendale's finest pieces on display. Ideal for those looking for an intimate affair who still want the granduer of dining in one of England's ten treasure houses.
As part of any State Dining Room booking, guests will be greeted in the elegant Entrance Hall and Library. After enjoying the stunning views from the Terrace and impressive history of the State Floors, guests will move into the magnificent State Dining Room where the richness of the past meets culinary flavours of the present to create the most memorable of dining experiences.

50% of the venue fee is payable to the venue if cancellation is more than 1 month prior to the event. 100% of the venue fee is payable to the venue if cancellation is 1 month or less prior to the event.

April 2024Have travelled past this place many times. Took the opportunity to visit this Monday while returning from a short stay near Pendle. A bit shocked at £18 entry fee but as we were here just paid it even though it was p……. down at this point ! It kept on showering. Firstly we walked down/ through the Himalayan area and round the lake to the walled garden ( some steep slopes to get down) BUT well worth it ( about half hour to stroll there, half hour return). Ferry not operating due to conditions. Drinks in the Courtyard Cafe ( would be best on a warm, sunny day). Followed by entry to the House …..what a magnificent place. Brilliant decor and furniture. Followed by drinks.food in the Terrace Cafe ( not a lot of choice). Missed out on seeing the Church. A shuttle bus does operate around the grounds. Overall a thoroughly fantastic visit …. Will hope to be returning on a sunnier day. You can upgrade your ticket if you want for a yearly pass one …. I would do if I lived closer to the property. Thank you Harewood for making it a really lovely experience …..except for the rain ! I won’t post all the great photos I took or it will spoil the surprises for you.

May 2024Very enjoyable and educational experience. Nice to see the trust acknowledge the source of the family wealth from the 1700's, accurate history should be taught, warts and all. Gardens and grounds are beautiful.

May 2024A really nice house to visit. The staff have a lot of knowledge of the family history and the contents. There is a really nice cafe. Nice views looking out into the grounds of the house. Well worth a visit.

April 2024Absolutely fantastic place to visit. You can go round the gardens for free but to go inside there is a charge but unsure how much it is. A really lovely building to visit.

April 2024First time to the house and gardens. It was a shame that the colour exhibition did not include any yarn, knitting, crochet, embroidery or crewelwork items. I know it is intended and I would love to see the walled garden restored to its original glory and full of vegetables and flowers soon.
