The Branch is the exclusive Private Dining Room based just upstairs from the main bar, accommodating up to 26 guests seated or 40 guests standing. August 2023This was the second time we have been here and the food has been good both times. The first was a Saturday lunchtime, it was a great atmosphere. The second was a midday afternoon and obviously less lively but the food and service were brilliant and we will definitely go back.

July 2024A wonderful surprise… we dropped in with no expectations as Banyan was close to our hotel and had a fantastic evening. The service was exceptional, Georgia looked after us, and in addition to knowing the menu she provided us with insights to help our trip. The food was delicious, fresh and tasty. Such a treat, will definitely be back every time we are in Leeds!

July 2024The food was excellent and the stuff was friendly. I just been there to eat in as I was passing by. I gave 4 starts because of the ordering system that was very slow. Furthermore, as I never been here before, the system required me to register and to add the credit card. Nice idea, but I would have preferred to talk to a waiter.

May 2024We had bottomless brunch at Banyan and were quite disappointed. The food was average and the drinks tasted really watered down. The service was good and our waitress was really friendly but unfortunately the food, drink and lack of atmosphere let it down. Would not recommend for a bottomless brunch.

September 2023Went here with my colleagues for lunch without booking and since there were less number of customers, we promptly got a seat and we preferred to sit outside as it was a sunny day. The menu was lovely with a good vegetarian and vegan options, although not many. Food and drinks arrived in time. The food was good (i asked the others how their food was and they agreed it was good). The waitress had spilled some of my drink in the tray. Very nonchalantly she said “sorry, your drink spilled a little”, placed it infront of me and walked away. I really thought it was a little spill and didn’t mind but when i touched my glass, it was very sticky with a lot of drink spilled. They didn’t atleast offer me a tissue to wipe it while announcing that my drink has spilled which is very not courteous. I wiped it off thoroughly using the tissue provided at the table.
