February 2025Booked last minute for a weekend away, and had a great time. ALL the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the although the bathroom was a bit dated and ‘tatty’, it was clean, hence the 5 star review. The food in the restaurant was a little bit pricey but was nice and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The swimming pool, sauna & jacuzzi was a bit disappointing as despite us visiting at various times, it was always too busy to use ‘properly’, as it is also used by schools and non hotel guests. The changing rooms were particularly bad as there was nowhere private to undress - particularly awkward when changing in front of children! We would recommend, but don’t book if using the swimming pool / fitness centre is really important to you.

March 2025Lovely hotel and welcoming staff. Especially Nickie on the breakfast team. Very friendly and very helpful. Had a smile on her face the whole time even though she was rushed off her feet doing everything from greeting to refilling. Thank you for the lovely experience

February 2025Lovely clean spacious rooms. We had interconnecting rooms. The children had a lovely activity box ready when we arrived. The bed were comfortable but could have better pillows. Breakfast was really nice and good variety on choices. Linda was really helpful and chatty. Overall a lovely hotel. Staff are friendly and made the effort to interact with adults and children.

March 2025Linda is absolutely wonderful! She is so warm, attentive, and truly goes above and beyond to make the whole experience feel special. Her kindness and attention to detail make such a difference, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Nothing is too much trouble for her, and she makes every guest feel valued and looked after. A real asset to the hotel—thank you, Linda!

February 2025I stayed at this hotel for five nights during a work trip. The rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard, and while the hotel may feel a bit dated in places, particularly the bathroom and some facilities, it didn’t detract from the experience. The staff were outstanding—everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful, with a special mention to Jamie, who works the night shift, for being such a great guy. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I enjoyed five nights of excellent sleep. The bar is open 24 hours, and there’s a buffet breakfast every morning. The hotel offers a large, free car park, and there are three supermarkets within walking distance. Overall, I found it hard to find any major faults with this hotel. If I were being picky, the only downside would be that the gym isn’t open 24 hours.
