The rooms were immaculately clean, we had a room in the cottage next to the main reception. The food was amazing and was priced really well. The drinks were a little overpriced but nothing you don't expect from staying in a hotel like this. There are lots of lodges on site, there is a golf course and a leisure complex with a swimming pool, saunas, steam room, ice room, gym, and massage treatments. We had some treatments, and they were great and again not badly priced. If you are staying in the hotel the leisure complex, swimming etc is free, you need to book hour slots after 11am. The gym is £5 per person. The staff were fantastic and very friendly and helpful. There was a wedding on when we stayed and it looked like a great occasion for the couple. The only problem we had was the fire alarm went off at half 2 in the morning one night and there were a few things around the pool that didn't work but other than that it is a fantastic place to stay.

Only visited for Afternoon Tea.There was a large Wedding Party in the immaculate grounds. The staff were very welcoming and showed us to a table in the delightful bar area which was a large conservatory type. Very clean, light and airy. The very attentive uniformed Manager explained how busy they were and couldn't supply the Afternoon Tea but offered the Coffee and Cake alternative. Excellent coffee and Strawberry Cheesecake. Spot on and good value at£6.00. We were so impressed we booked for an Evening Meal. Lovely dining room with speedy service. There was a good selection to choose from. The Pizza was freshly made and piping hot and my Wife had the Goats Cheese and Onion Tart. Both were large portions and the Pizza almost defeated me. We did not have a chance to look around the hotel but what we saw was very well appointed and spotless. The staff were excellent and the Manager was very engaging and explained the history of the Bomber Command in Lincolnshire when I expressed an interest and he was correct. The grounds are well kept and the views are excellent If I stayed in the area I would definitely have no hesitation staying here if my short experience was anyway to go by.

Great place to chill out. Lovely grounds to walk in and leisure centre has something for everyone. Very clean. The staff are very attentive and friendly. I always enjoy coming. Great value for money.

Rooms are large and clean. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself has the impression of having been a high end hotel around 25years ago. The place is clean and well maintained, but the decor and design is very dated. Service is very good, but the bar and food are uninspiring. It is not hard to find better food and drink elsewhere at a cheaper price. Additionally, the hotel communal areas arent exactly the most comfortable spaces to hang out. Rooms are very comfortable and a good size. However, other guests talking in the corridor resonates very loudly in the rooms. All in all, a good place to stay with excellent amenities, but food and drink should be better for the price paid (around £7 for a pint of average lager, or £20+ for a very Wetherspoonsesque main).
