Our bigger suites can accommodate up to 500 guests for a grand affair, and many of the spaces boast wonderful views of the racecourse, providing the perfect backdrop for your day.
As the venue is licensed for civil ceremonies and partnerships, you can hold your whole wedding day here. In the warmer months, your ceremony can be held outside on the balcony against a gorgeous backdrop of the view across York Minister.

We have recently introduced a stunning new addition for wedding celebrations. Our Parade Ring Restaurant is a stand-alone facility with its own exclusive entrance through our Henry Cecil gates. It is a modern, timber clad suite with a beautiful feature roof on the top floor of our Weighing Room and overlooking the Parade Ring with views up the racecourse.

January 2025This iconic venue meet expectations! I attended the Racecourse for a training course, and its facilities are excellent. Lovely food and refreshments and helpful staff. If you allow enough time, you can walk from York Railway Station to this venue and enjoy the views. Although I've not been on a race day, I expect it's a fabulous experience.
