September 2024This is one of my favourite hotels and my husband and I have stayed here several times over the last few years. The hotel and spa are first class. However at breakfast this morning, I ordered eggs Benedict and asked for a rasher of bacon on the side. I was extremely surprised to then be charged £3.00 for the bacon, particularly when I had paid £275.00 for the room. I don’t think this is how a high end hotel should behave!

August 2024I throughly enjoyed my trip to The Elms. Prior to my stay, I had an issue that was resolved by the team during my stay and I was really happy with the attention to detail from their side. Liz and the team were absolutely amazing, professional and caring. She would check in to make sure everything was going well with our visit. We used the spa facilities and enjoyed our treatment. We had breakfast every morning and enjoyed the truffles in our room. One of the amazing things about the Elms was their customer service, every single person I encountered really cares about the service they were offering- their attention to detail was impeccable. It was a beautiful getaway and 100 percent recommend! Thanks for a lovely time and a massive thank you to Liz for being absolutely amazing to me ❤️

August 2024This was our second stay for our first wedding anniversary after we got engaged at the hotel in 2022 and it was just as special as I remember. The staff are so amazing and can’t do enough for you. We were lucky to be in the same room we stayed in before. We had a meal in the restaurant both nights which was just as amazing as I remember. Breakfast was also amazing which such a wide variety of hot options. The spa, pool and jacuzzi were sensational and so relaxing. The Elms had very much become our happy place and we can’t wait to go back x

September 2024One of the best spas I’ve ever experienced. As well as a superb treatment, the spa aesthetic and ambiance were gorgeous. The afternoon tea that was included in our day was also exquisite- the only feedback I would give is the staff in the restaurant weren’t particularly welcoming, but the spa staff were absolutely lovely. A beautiful setting in a lovely part of the country - thoroughly recommended

August 2024We had booked one of the smaller rooms and the room itself was a little problematic. Initially we were greeted with the incredibly loud noise of a portable air conditioning unit which was loosely propped against the window and that immediately fell off when we tried to move it so we could get to the window to enjoy the beautiful view. A few of the plugs and one of the lamps in our room didn't work and our bathroom fan made a very strange clicking and humming noise so we tried to just keep the bathroom light off whenever possible. There were some other issues with our room but I'll move onto the positives about our stay. All of the staff here were so incredibly nice, welcoming and friendly. The pool was a little on the smaller side but we went to the spa area twice and while one time it was quite busy the second time we had it mostly to ourselves. The pool was very interestingly decorated, the jacuzzi was pleasant. The steam rooms and sauna were great and there was free tea, coffee and water in the pool area. The breakfast was so delicious and the evening meal was very good too. Service here is clearly one of their priorities as everyone is extremely attentive. We really enjoyed our stay and if it wasn't for the slight disappointment in our room we would certainly return. We still might. Overall I would recommend this hotel :)
