If I could give it 6 stars then I would. Easily comparable to other 5* small hotels in the UK, if not with a slight edge? From the initial greeting.. the understated service throughout the hotel, the exceptional food options, spa, spa treatments and overall experiences.. nothing but praise for the team and experience we received which made it a truly memorable occasion.

We had a wonderful experience at the Dormy hotel with the exception of some of the issues with the room. We were given a handicapped room which is a bit of an issue as both my wife and I are tall. Otherwise great food, amazing spa with snow shower and Himalayan salt sauna and great service

Really lovely place to relax and wind down, loved the spa in particular. Food was excellent. All staff we interacted with were helpful and welcoming. Two things I was not delighted about - in the spa cafe we ordered juices, for £6+ I was expecting them to be freshly juiced but they sadly came in a plastic bottle. I wouldn’t have ordered had I known they weren’t juiced on site. Second, in parts of the hotel there were plastic plants, which was against the environmental principles seemingly held by the hotel. I totally understand for the spa etc where there is no natural light but it was really disappointing in the lobby and lounge areas where the hotel could easily have a variety of real plants.
