August 2024The Mercure hotel is great, good clean rooms at a reasonable price, however the best part is definitely the restaurant, the food is great, and the bar staff of Jake and Emma are fantastic, they are always very attentive and always take the time to offer advise when asked questions on the menu. They are both highly professional and always provide service with a smile. It’s great seeing them both after a long day at work, thank you again Jake and Emma! Harry

August 2024I have stayed at the Mecure in Winchester numerous times and can honestly say the staff are first class. You feel extremely welcome here and the service is second to none. Emma and Sophie are particularly good and it is a pleasure to see them (when they are on shift). All in all, great service and a wonderful place to stay. Personally, I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Winchester.

June 2024Very nice and comfortable room. Plenty of space. Had a great sleep. The room was clean throughout. Bathroom was well stocked with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel etc. A heated mirror that didn't steam up when you take a shower ( always a good thing). Parking is very limited although there is other parking nearby

August 2024We have had an amazing time at the Mercure Wessex. The room was beautiful with a back drop of the cathedral and garden view. The staff members are extremely polite, helpful and professional and a special thank you to Michelle, Emma, Ashlee, Sophie , Arthur and the gentleman behind the bar with long hair. The breakfast manager and the staff in the restaurant were also amazing. To be honest, everyone that attended to us was absolutely fantastic so thank you for making our stay comfortable.

September 2024This was a great location to enjoy Winchester, which is a beautiful city. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok. The room was clean and had everything I needed. Some areas of the hotel looked a little tired. Ii would definitely stay here again.
