Partly built in the 1200s with much more added in the
16230s, this grade two listed largely Jacobean 'black and white'
half-timbered house is a wonky, quirky, creative home and perfect for
small events that require something charming and with personality.
It's a six bedroom house with nine beds, plus a lounge with wood
burner, a sociable kitchen, dining room that seats 12 and a large open
space (the library) that's used for talks, workshops and classes.
Directly alongside the river Avon in Worcestershire, the house is away
from roads and sits in 1.5 acres of very old meadow, with mature trees
and plenty of wildlife. It's a peaceful, calm and charming place for
lots of uses.
