December 2024Without doubt after a few different landlords this is the best pub in town, the food is excellent, I mean really good, the choice of Ales is always spot on & very well priced, in fact best value in Marlborough, great selection & the only pub in town with a strong winter warmer from Stonehenge Brewery. Live music, a real open fire you won’t get better than this, ticks all the boxes, great landlord & staff!

October 2024A great Pub..and trust me Matt will make it a huge success. Zero rating for food (review written on October 22nd 2024) as the kitchen is not open just quite yet in the evening. Lunch menu looks good!

November 2024What a gem! Warm welcome to dogs and humans. Only had a Ciabatta but it was lovely with a nice side salad very reasonably priced. Will be back to try the fish pie and other dishes on the menu, also very clean!

December 2024I'm visiting my son over Christmas in a small town in Wiltshire. As my son was away seeing his mates one evening, I decided to visit the Roebuck one evening, but it was impossibly busy. As the pub is 0.4 miles from my son's place, I visited again around lunch. I live in Germany in Frankonia, where the food there is something like a schaufelerTraditional English food for me is ham, eggs and chips. So I ordered Wiltshire ham, eggs, and chips, with an extra egg. I ordered Old Camden Town Hell simply because it sounded like Helles.

October 2024Haven’t tried the food, but have driven 2 hours with our newborn baby, decided to stop for some lunch, says this pub is open on google, we walk in and we’re told the pub is closed for two weeks! The outside lights are all on, doors open, no signs at all to say it’s closed!! UPDATE YOUR GOOGLE HOURS, it’s very simple
