Hotel staff were not as good as I expected. SLOW service, and quite rude at the front desk if I'm honest. Felt quite uncomfortable with the way I was treated. Would go the theme park again, probably wouldn't go the hotel. Shame.

Disappointing Experience for the Price I recently stayed at Drayton Manor Hotel and was left feeling very disappointed, especially considering the price we paid. First, the cleanliness in the bathroom was appalling. When I filled the bath, it was absolutely full of floaters. For a hotel of this standard, I expected much better. This alone put a damper on the stay. Another major issue was the lack of soundproofing in the bedrooms. You could hear everything from the rooms above, next door, and even from the corridor. As a hotel that caters to families with young, excited children, I expected much more thought to be put into noise reduction. It was difficult to relax or get a decent night’s sleep with so much noise. On a positive note, the children’s entertainment was very good. There were plenty of fun activities to keep the kids occupied, which was a highlight of the stay and something the hotel should be commended for. Additionally, the reception staff provided absolutely fantastic customer service. They were friendly, professional, and very welcoming. They are clearly well-trained and a credit to the hotel. Breakfast was tasty, but the service left much to be desired. As a solo parent with a 2-year-old, the experience was stressful and unsupportive. There was no help offered with accessing the buffet while trying to manage a toddler. Worse still, on two occasions, I came back from the buffet to find our plates and drinks had been cleared away, making me feel rushed and unwelcome. Overall, while there were some positive aspects like the reception staff and children’s entertainment, the experience didn’t meet expectations. Cleanliness, noise control, and breakfast service seriously need improvement to justify the price charged.
