We are a converted barn wedding and events venue situated just 2 miles from St Andrews, with some spectacular sea views! We have been running weddings, events, activity days and corporate dinners and company offsites since 2003 so have 20 years experience in the industry.
We are a unique and adaptable venue that can seat up to 350 guests for any event. and you have exclusive use of the venue and its grounds! We have 10 self catering Cabins on site that can sleep 2 people each, so 20 people can stay on site for the event.
Catering is supplied by an external caterer, we are flexible on what suppliers you use, we do have a recommended list of Caterers who have worked with us for years and who we trust, these are: Gourlay Events, Lazy Sunday Catering, Regis Banqueting. , Wild Rover, Wild Thyme, Pantry Events, The Edinburgh Catering Company, Ballintaggart
-This area is the most popular for wedding ceremonies using the same chairs as for dining, and again with flexibility as to layout seating around 200. Alternatively it can be used as a second area for tables & chairs seating around 150 which combined with the Dance Floor allows room for a total of 350-450 depending on required dance floor area.
Another option may be to use this area to set out a buffet, whiskey tasting, stalls etc.

August 2024All of the staff we dealt with in preparation for our wedding were extremely professional, kind & easy to talk to, providing advice & help when needed, they are all extremely knowledgeable & made sure the day ran smoothly without any issues. We were extremely lucky to have such a great support & Kinkell Byre is probably the most beautiful wedding venues in Fife, we couldn’t think of anywhere better to get married, we had the best day 🩷

September 2024We got married at Kinkell Byre in August 2024 and it was everything and more we ever dreamed of. It was the top of our list when we were looking at venues and we knew from the minute we stepped in Kinkell Byre that we would be getting married there. It is a stunning venue and with it being a blank canvas it allows you to do what you want with the space. It was really helpful that they had a list of recommended suppliers but great that we could use any suppliers we wanted for our day. If you're looking for a barn style wedding this is the one. The outside views are exceptional too, over-looking the sea on the side of St Andrews. Sophie, our main contact and manager at Kinkell is amazing at her job too, she was on point with everything from the moment we booked right up to our wedding day. September 2024We had a fantastic experience booking, planning and eventually celebrating our wedding at Kinkell Byre. The staff were all amazing, with special thanks to Sophie, Stevie and Brian. The venue itself is beautiful, spacious, rustic and the styling possibilities are endless- ensuring that our wedding day was perfectly 'us'. Perfect location and beautiful views. We have also previously stayed in the cabins too which was the ideal cosy coastal getaway. We will come back for many years to come to what has become a very special place for us. July 2024We feel incredibly lucky to have found Kinkell Byre and be able to say that it was our wedding venue. I don't think I can find enough words to express my love and appreciation for Kinkell and it's wonderful staff. Cannot have imagined getting married anywhere else, and would choose them again in a heart beat. Our guests were truly blown away with how stunning this place is. The grounds made for amazing photo backdrops and we didn't have to leave the location to get the perfect shots. The byre coordinators are all worth their weight in gold and truly went above and beyond to make our day everything we imagined and more. The Byre cabins are the perfect addition to this venue and were well used by our guests. So modern, stunning views and perfectly equipped. If you are considering this as your wedding venue, think no further, and go for it. You will never ever regret it.
