October 2024Not far from the train station, in vicinity of fast food restaurants and shops as well as close to my planned event for the evening. Brilliant hotel and can't praise them enough.

November 2024Rooms were a let down they need loads of work however the bed was lovely and clean. Staff were friendly at check-in and checking out. Hotel is in a good location. Near to the shops and pubs. Don't think we would stay here again though unless it's updated

September 2024We stayed at The Dragon Hotel 2 years ago and things weren't good then and they are worse now. Only one of the two tiny lifts working. The poor chamber maids with their large trolly can't fit in with one guest. As an elderly lady I am choosing to climb the stairs to the 4 floors because the lift is so slow. Breakfast is plentiful but had been sitting on the warming trays for ages, slowly congealing.
