Silvermere Inn On The Lake, Waterside Suite

We always love our time at the Silvermere Inn on the Lake. I have to say the staff is always so welcoming and kind. Even on very busy days, they manage(d) to squeeze our family (our fault, we forgot to book & they were up to their eyes) Overall, excellent service and professional staff. Food has always been good/very good. We recently stopped there for a super quick lunch, went for the onion soup & paninis. Although I am not a huge fan of Parmesan in an onion soup (I prefer the French style gratin style cooked "gratiné" Gruyere or Comté on a single piece of bread in the soup), I have to say, the soup was delicious: just the right balance of acidity and onion taste, with a perfectly made broth. So far, we have tried many of their main dishes too, such as the fish and chips, meats, burgers or paninis (we love the pull pork MontereyJack) Everything has always been well cooked and served with a smile.
