January 2025We spent a night at this hotel to be able to catch an early-morning flight at Gatwick the next day. It’s only 15-20 min drive from the long stay car park of the north terminal. Our room was clean, modern and had everything we needed. We particularly liked the restaurant/bar and the swimming pool at the hotel. The food was delicious. The pool was clean and had a nice jacuzzi, a sauna room and a steam room. Using the pool must be prebooked but is only a phone call away. The staff members at the hotel were friendly and courteous. Overall, our experience at the hotel was highly positive.

February 2025Excellent hotel and spa. Staff welcoming and friendly.excelled in their service and dealt efficently with a booking issue, nothing was a problem. Lunch, meal and breakfast all outstanding and constituent monitoring regarding allergies. Rooms clean and spacious, beds comfortable. Spa was again lovely experience, restful and relaxed. Will return again, recommend booking directly to hotel, not using a spa booking site online.

January 2025Check in quick and easy, was able to check in early and staff were welcoming and friendly Room a good size, very clean Tea and coffee facilities as you would expect, could do with a couple more coffees in the room Shower pressure good and shower gel/shampoo and conditioner, plenty of towels. Request robe and slippers at reception Bed comfortable plenty of pillows, and air-conditioning in room. The room was quiet at night Small pool and spa area, with steam room, sauna and loungers. Lockers and towels also available Room service available, tried the club sandwich and caesar salad, excellent! Good portion size and tender chicken, would recommend All in all, a pleasant stay for the price

January 2025When we arrived I wouldn’t say it was a warm welcome, it was an uncomfortable entrance. We asked for gowns and slippers as we were told these were provided but, due to the hotel no longer being a Crown Plaza they’d all being returned and they were waiting for new ones (surely new ones should have already arrived) and we should have been told which we weren’t! The hotel has plenty of accessible lifts (not normal lifts the small ones for wheelchair access) BUT also a lot of steps everywhere, if there was a power failure anyone disabled would have an issue. ** The bathroom in the room is absolutely freezing which in turn made the room extremely cold so was very cold overnight so bare this in mind if going in the winter months** other than this the room was ok, we didn’t have a hairdryer (not the end of the world but the room should have been checked) we called reception and were told it was in the bedside drawer - no we’d looked there, it’ll be in the writing desk drawer, there is no drawer in the writing desk, ok we’ll send housekeeping which they did! Then again not the end of the world tv channels weren’t working and apparently they were being fixed the next day. The wardrobe is on the right as you go in the room behind the door but due to no lighting in that area you can’t see in the wardrobe at all. The bar is very over priced but I guess that’s expected for where you are. On leaving the following day 4 members of staff at the desk all happily chatting to each other, I wasn’t sure where you left the door cards, not one single person acknowledged us so we left them on the reception top. But they obviously didn’t want to stop their important conversations as not even a thank you for staying or have a nice day or even a simple goodbye! I’ve had a better stay and service at a Premier Inn if I’m honest the staff are always friendly and welcoming there. The nicest staff member was in the bar the previous night who’d been there 2 days. May be the staff aren’t happy with the change over of company’s! Let’s hope they improve and the staff getting customer service training.
