Even the dark grey murky clouds pouring rain, high winds wouldn't have stopped me from making my first trip to the stadium of light, Sunderland. To witness an idol of mine... Bruce Springsteen. Through the shopping mall outdoors surrounded with pubs restaurants and bars aplenty...take a left across the bridge and in the distance you can see the stadium. Not as large as Wembley but a very cosy 45,000 people for a Springsteen concert. And the rest is history. An opportunity not to be missed.

The concert experience is fantastic at the Stadium of light. The only reason to ever be disappointed is the actual prices for refreshments inside the venue. The Boss was an absolute joy to watch though even through the rain ☺️
