Following a multi-million Refurbished in Summer 2023 the Montgomery Suite is the ideal venue for your conference, event or celebration.
Boasting high ceilings to accommodate large productions, this suite comfortably holds up to 450 guests for dinner, or up to 650 for presentations in theatre style. Hugely popular space for a broad range of events including exhibitions, trade shows, dinners and award ceremonies.
Can also be combined with the Business Lounge, to create a space with dinner capacity of 650.

March 2025I hadn't been to the SoL for two seasons. I live out of the country and the logistics of flights makes it easier to make away games. I went to the Sunderland v Cardiff City game. I was thoroughly impressed with the view and the whole match day experience as ever. I was at the back of the Roker End and had great sight of the action. As this is now a safe standing area there were crush barriers on every row, making safety a top priority. Adult tickets cost £32 and we won the match 2-1 :-)

February 2025Had a great night at SOL. Great place and a win. Inside the ground, there are plenty of food and beer shops with a quick service. Stewards and staff really helpful. Amazing lighting display during dances of the knights for the team walk out.

January 2025Good view of pitch from all stands. If you are short sighted/ scared of heights try and get a seat in the front row. Row 21 is the highest. Seats after 90 are safe standing. Normal burger bars around the ground. Sunderland station just under a mile away from ground. Newcastle is 20 minutes away on the train. Be warned you can’t take coins, vapes and drinks in to the ground. They even ask you to put your loose change in to a bucket you will get patted down and sniffed by a dog.
