The Leather Bottle has been proudly standing in the heart of Earlsfield since the 1700’s; serving delicious food and drink to all who visit. Our menus are packed with a variety of delicious dishes. From light bites for lunch to hearty pub classics for dinner; we’ve something to suit all appetites and taste buds. Food is served throughout all parts of the pub and in our bright, airy restaurant. For those seeking outdoor dining, we have a beautiful alfresco terrace and bookable private huts.
A spacious-yet-snug private room (big enough for a bash, cosy enough for a chinwag) that’s just right for every kind of gathering. Whether you’re throwing a birthday blowout, rounding up the gang for a big, belly-filling dinner, toasting the mum-to-be with post-baby-shower bubbly, or sneaking away for a top-tier Sunday roast with the fam, this is the spot. It’s got that just-right mix of roomy-but-intimate. Oh, and it’s fully accessible, complete with its very own toilet (because who wants to queue when there’s celebrating to do?).

October 2024Always the best visit! Kyle is the best manager, so welcoming and friendly! Burger and Sausage & Mash are the best! Best pub in Earlsfield and the South West! 😁

July 2024We came to visit this pub with family because my wife's father and his family use to frequent it back in the days. There are a lot of stories in the family about this pub. It has been renovated about 8 months ago and it looks well taken care off. The prices are ok, the staff is also very friendly There is plenty of place inside or outside. Very recommendable for a good pint. There is a small parking on the left hand side and the park is very, very close. Also the milk is good There they told me ;)

May 2024*edit* this is 5 minutes from my house and cannot express how much we love this pub all the staff are amazing, we’ve done good, drinks, beer garden and even the huts outside too we love this place. Once again massive thank you to Isabella she’s an amazing host and always makes us feel like home. Ben also gave us a great time, super nice guy and we’ve seen him a few times out here. The Leather Bottle in Earlsfield isn't just a pub, it's a haven for Sunday roasts. They boast what has to be the best beer garden in London, and the outside/inside restaurant area is a dream, especially on a sunny day when the whole place opens up. However, this popularity comes with a caveat: booking ahead is essential! The service here is fantastic. The staff are friendly and attentive, and our waitress Bella was a delight. She found us a great spot in the sun and was always happy to check in and see if we needed anything. Now, onto the main event: the food. We started with the beer sourdough and smoked anchovy and garlic butter. The bread was light and airy, and the butter was a revelation – salty and almost like a rich pate thanks to the anchovy. For the main course, I opted for the West Country beef rump. The roast potatoes were everything you dream of: crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. The beef itself was generously cut, tender, and beautifully complemented by a punchy horseradish sauce. The gravy deserves special mention – rich, meaty, and the perfect salty counterpoint to the rest of the dish. The portion size is perfect – it seems daunting at first, but you'll leave feeling satisfied, not stuffed. At £22, the roast is fantastic value. They also have a great drinks selection, including a good variety of wines. If you're looking for a recommendation, I can't recommend the Te Henga Pinot Noir enough for a hot summers day red. Overall, The Leather Bottle is a winner. Great atmosphere, fantastic service, and a Sunday roast that will leave you wanting more. Just remember to book ahead!

August 2024Came here multiple times since reopening and quite frankly it’s getting worse. Went for a drink and a burger recently and when we arrived, the bartender was standing at the bar with his arms crossed doing nothing. We sat down in the main restaurant and after a few minutes of sitting, we had to ask the manager who was sat at a table for a menu because the two other team members didn’t bring us anything. He asked the only lady who was serving to get a menu when she was clearly busy. Went outside eventually, ordered and the waiter didn't really care. He served food from across the wall, didn’t bother to come around to the table. After about 30 mins, we get interrupted by a waitress to ask if we could pay for the drink purchased inside as it wasn’t paid. Just saying, could have left the pub by then without paying. Lastly, the semi outdoor area is disgusting. There is food everywhere, crumbs, pees, dog fur on benches, just awful. It needs hoover. Honestly, keeps going downhill and it is expensive for what it is.

August 2024Returned to the Leather Bottle post refurbishment for a light bite with a colleague. The pub refurb and garden looks great however the kitchen were sold out of quite a lot of food. Narrowed down to the pate on sourdough, bowl of chips and olives. Had to send the plate back as tasted bland sitting on a thick and not very appetising slab of bread. The chips were overcooked as well. Politely asked to return the pate and met by a clearly unhappy and somewhat surly manager did not ask what the problem was. Not great customer service. Very limited starter menu for anyone looking to graze and definitely better pub options in terms of food available locally. This pub really is about the garden so enjoy whilst the sun’s shining!
