    We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of our room and facilities available in this hotel. The staff were equally polite and extremely helpful. The restaurant menu in the evening was quite limited, but the helpfulness of the waiter forced us to still stay and eat what was on offer. Breakfast was excellent. Overall, it was a real positive experience. Thank you.

    Great little gem in the heart of Ipswich, near the marina, lovely and clean, very modern furnishings, staff lovely, room best I've been in UK in this price range, definitely recommend this for a stay

    First time to ipswich for the weekend. Great hotel lovley staff. Had a nice stay in a great location near to everything walk away from the town centre. Rooms nice and clean and comfy. Be definitely staying there again when I come bk

    Nice size room, like everywhere, short of staff. Placed beside a busy roundabout although the noise was not too bad. £7 per night carparking fee. Car park was very busy but hotel seemed very quiet. Great tasty breakfast, only one waiting staff to check in, clear tables, replenish food etc, worked very hard.

    Rooms have been somewhat recently refurbished after the hotel was used for immigrants. Feel like the decor is missing something though it is fresh and pleasant enough. The reception staff were on most counts unwelcoming, unfriendly and just didn't seem to care about our experience. It was like talking to zombies from Shaun of the Dead. The only exception was the guy that helped us when the car park that we'd paid to park in was empty, he was lovely and very polite. Breakfast had 2 staff walking around coughing, sneezing and sniffing. One guy sounded very unwell. The food was at best lukewarm and really not up to much. Overall not worth the cost but in a pinch would return.
