December 2024Lovely relaxing hotel. The staff were very polite and also friendly . We would like to say a big thank you to Rachel who looked after us very well. The hotel is nicely situated with plenty of parking. The breakfast was delicious.

February 2025The hotel could be so much more. The interior lacks imagination and seems disjointed. Our room faced the main road , and there was heavy traffic. Little to no attention seemed to be paid to detail. The room needed a makeover, I felt it had not been overhauled in 30 years. It's one of the poorest showers I've come across. I guess I'm used to the George, but we thought we would give this a try. I would not return or recommend it to others. I gave it one star as I feel they are advocating DEI, as two of the front of hotel women had moustaches. One kept saying annoyingly," Enjoy your holiday".
