Fab hotel and location. Customer service in the various settings across the hotel was excellent. Room service particularly so; Krishna listened carefully to our order requests (burger and club sandwich) and delivered 🙂. Both were delicious- served hot with a short wait and beautifully presented. Can also recommend the afternoon tea- the best I have had - very fresh, amazing choice of teas and food of a high quality.

Had a great stay at this beautiful property. One of the highlights of our experience was the exceptional service provided by the concierge, Ahmed. With his professionalism and kind manner, he went above and beyond to ensure my visit was perfect. The complimentary shuttle service to St.Andrews is convenient. Two things can be improved: the breakfast buffet, which was not getting refilled after 9:30ish, and the housekeeping service, which was late every day.

The Scottish are so friendly - so that is great! And the lands and the view is amazing; however, if you are staying in St.Andrews for the town or college move in experience I recommend Rusacks because not only is the atmosphere amazing but also: 1) Sometimes it is difficult to get cabs from the Fairmont to take you to town - and you are stuck until their vans leave (1 that holds 8 people 1 an hour), and 2) The breakfast service is shockingly slow - we would wait and wait to be seated. I also recommend the coastal Walk from the Fairmont to St. Andrews - you don’t have to stay at the Fairmont to do the walk:).

Large room. Great services, and fantastic breakfast. It is locate outside of the town, but there is a free shuttle to the city centre. Very Friendly and helpful staff (except the manager). It's a really 5-star hotel. However, I gave only 2 star because: I requested to extend my checkout time by only one hour ( from 12 to 1 pm ) but the manager refused to extend until I pay 30£ ). In every 5-star hotel that I had ever stayed, I had never asked to pay extra for extending only one hour. They will extended for free or apologise.
