Absolute brilliant place to relax. Really clean lodge with everything you need. Great area to use as a base. There are activities on site, some with additional cost. As for all the staff, everyone goes out of their way to give you the best experience. Especially the team in reception. Restaurant does lovely meals and everything looked freshly made. Pizzas were top notch and the kids loved them. Would recommend this place to anyone that's needs to relax and go about at your own pace.

Monday to Friday stay in a 3-bed Axbridge Lodge Premier - we were really impressed by the whole place. The Lodge was spacious, fully equipped and perfectly situated. Add a hottub and it becomes the needed retreat. The reception staff were lovely, and nothing was too much trouble. The facilities were added bonus, too. Our only negative was we wished we had booked for longer! Already trying to tie in dates for our next visit.

Just had a 7 night stay here. Staff were friendly, pool area and bar area really clean. Hot tub was maintained all week. Our Lodge was perfect, had everything we needed.

Amazing place and great facilities such as the pool and restaurant. Service in the restaurant was top notch. Let down slightly by reporting a broken chair in the lodge where nothing was done about it and damaged doors (on had clearly been punched though by a previous 'guest') which had not been repaired or mentioned when checking in. Otherwise great weekend away.

Lovely peaceful location, but sadly won’t be returning. On first impressions the lodge (cheddar premier lodge) looked clean and tidy. Unfortunately on further inspection the lodge was quite worn (which is to be expected being a dog friendly lodge) however it was far from being spotless! Walls were grubby in some places, en suite with mould on the walls/celling, a toilet seat which had clearly been replaced with the wrong seat. A broken blind which was difficult to put up or down, clearly maintenance is something that needs a big improvement on! The hot tub was lovely but we had to ask for it to be topped up on a couple occasions due to it having a leak (this was confirmed by the guy who we asked to have a look at it) Overall a lovely peaceful location, however poor maintenance!
