December 2024Due to the nature of my work, I have stayed in many hotels across the country. My experience at the Metropolitan Hotel was exceptional. The staff, particularly the manager Sandeep, provided extraordinary customer service; they were polite and friendly throughout our stay. They took excellent care of my family and me during our visit for my graduation ceremony. I will definitely return whenever I need to stay in Sheffield.

December 2024Stayed for one night. The room was cheap so wasn’t expecting much. However it was absolutely amazing. Really clean, beds were comfy. Spacious room to move about and bathroom was decent size too. Staff were mega friendly and helpful. Only downfall is the location. Be perfect if there was free parking but can’t complain as they provide a discount for NPC car park attached to it. £4.95 for 24 hours. Will be returning if I go to Sheffield again.

December 2024Exceptional Service and a Memorable Stay! We had an absolutely wonderful experience during our stay. The staff went above and beyond to make our visit truly special. They organized a birthday cake and a thoughtful present for my 3-year-old son, which was such a heartwarming gesture. Their friendliness and helpfulness made us feel like we were part of a family, not just guests!

December 2024Nice cheap hotel, rooms were clean if outdated. However the food and care from staff is actually awful. After a long drive myself and partner ordered fish and chips in their restaurant. Chips were fine. Fish was stone cold and raw throughout. If it had been busy I could have overlooked a mishap but we were the only people there. The chef to his credit did offer to cook us something else but 2 raw cold fish we didn't have much faith and declined as didn't want to end up sicker then I did. We told the staff member at the bar just to be told "well he cooked it" and a shrug of shoulders. Complained at main desk she took a picture and said she would pass to manager and offered us more food, politely told her we didn't trust the food there. Due to this I ended up rather sick all night and next day which ruined a family visit for Xmas. So be basically paid £36 for 2 cokes and 12 chips each and not so much as a apology.
