Located in the tranquil countryside near Corbridge in the Tyne Valley, Healey Barn offers beautiful open views south across the surrounding landscape. Yet despite its rural location, the barn is less than 20 miles from the centre of Newcastle. The Healey Barn buildings were converted by Cripps & Co in 2015 to create a luxury event space. Retaining the charm and history of the original building, the barn works as well in the summer, with doors opening out onto a sunny courtyard, as it does in winter, with a large stone fireplace and underfloor heating.
Healy Barn is blessed with sweeping views over the Northumbrian landscape on one side and out into the courtyard, with its glow of twinkling lights, fire pits and lanterns, on the other, the Oak Room can accommodate 140 guests seated to dine. Our feasts receive as many compliments as the barn itself. We buy the best, cook it simply and serve it generously. Food is flame-cooked from fresh ingredients on a huge BBQ and French rotisseries in full view of our guests. Menus are designed collaboratively with our in-house chefs. Luxurious overnight accommodation for up to 34 guests is available at Healey Hall. The events team at Healey Barn are on hand to help organise everything from the big ideas to the last minute details.

September 2024We had our wedding here on August 22nd 2024 and I cannot fault Healey Barn in any way. From the moment we first viewed the venue to the day of our wedding, they went above and beyond to ensure it was the best experience. We had constant communication with them from the moment we booked and if we needed to know anything, they responded within hours. There was never a time we felt unsure or uncomfortable with anything as they always kept our minds at ease. When it came to the day of our wedding, everything fell into place wonderfully and at no point did I have to ask them any questions on how things were going be as they took lead on everything and it is certainly the smoothest wedding I’ve been too, even if I am biased as it was my own :). The main reason we choose Healy Barn (other than the fact the place is stunning) was because of the food. I can safely say it did not disappoint. It was some of the best food I have ever had and I am sad the whole experience is now over. It has been the most heartwarming time after our wedding to hear from all of our guests at how amazing the whole thing was and how beautiful the place is. I am glad we chose them and will forever suggest Healey Barn as a wedding venue to any friends (or strangers) to get married there.

August 2024We had our wedding here in May this year. Healey Barn is a beautiful and secluded venue in the Northumberland countryside. Even before our first visit, Healey Barn was our first choice of venue and it did not disappoint! The barn has a rustic charm and did not require too much decorating. Jack and the rest of the team were very accommodating and quick to answer our questions. The food was delicious and the evening pizza cooked in the outside pizza oven was definitely a highlight! Would highly recommend.
