Located in the tranquil countryside near Corbridge in the Tyne Valley, Healey Barn offers beautiful open views south across the surrounding landscape. Yet despite its rural location, the barn is less than 20 miles from the centre of Newcastle. The Healey Barn buildings were converted by Cripps & Co in 2015 to create a luxury event space. Retaining the charm and history of the original building, the barn works as well in the summer, with doors opening out onto a sunny courtyard, as it does in winter, with a large stone fireplace and underfloor heating.
Healy Barn is blessed with sweeping views over the Northumbrian landscape on one side and out into the courtyard, with its glow of twinkling lights, fire pits and lanterns, on the other, the Oak Room can accommodate 140 guests seated to dine. Our feasts receive as many compliments as the barn itself. We buy the best, cook it simply and serve it generously. Food is flame-cooked from fresh ingredients on a huge BBQ and French rotisseries in full view of our guests. Menus are designed collaboratively with our in-house chefs. Luxurious overnight accommodation for up to 34 guests is available at Healey Hall. The events team at Healey Barn are on hand to help organise everything from the big ideas to the last minute details.

August 2023I couldn't recommend Healey more! We chose Healey for our wedding just 5 months before the big day and had a fantastic experience. I run events for a living and could tell they were great from the start. Leanne, the many Jack's and the rest of the team were brilliant to work with- always replying quickly and ready to accommodate our needs whether that was an unusual reception drink, visits to the venue and a vast array of dietary requirements. The venue is stunning and set up for a great wedding come rain or shine. My husband and I were able to have a perfect day because of how quietly but efficiently the team ran the wedding- thank you very much! Ps the food is delicious and portions are huge! One guest said it was the best chicken they'd ever had- high praise indeed.

February 202510/10 – From the very start, Jack and the team were absolutely fantastic. Planning a wedding from overseas could have been stressful, but they made the entire process effortless. Their attention to detail was impeccable, and everything was seamlessly organised. The venue itself is stunning and works perfectly. We got married in February, and it was incredible—even in winter. On a warm summer’s day, I can only imagine how magical it would be. The food was nothing short of exceptional, think high-end restaurant quality. February 2025I absolutely love photographing weddings at Healey Barn! It’s got that perfect mix of rustic charm and cozy elegance, making it an absolute dream for photos. The stone walls, wooden beams, and twinkling fairy lights create such a gorgeous atmosphere—whether it’s a bright summer wedding or a moody winter one, it always looks amazing. The outdoor space is fab too! The courtyard is perfect for mingling (and sneaky candid shots!), and the countryside views? Unreal.
