September 2024Hotel was brilliant spotlessly clean. Room was massive bathroom great. Room had everything you need and more. They made the room available early as I was attending a funeral and wanted too freshen up before attending after a long drive.check in was 2pm I got the room at 12pm for 2pm which I thank them for. The only problem I found with this hotel was some of the customers who were rude too staff on several occasions that I witnessed but the staff handled them professionally. I will be stopping here again and I thank all the staff for their service.

September 2024Overall, an enjoyable stay. We made good use of the on site gym and spa, both were clean, quiet and a pleasure to use. The food at the hotel was also good. A fully stocked buffet style breakfast offering plenty of choice. We ate dinner in the restaurant with the waiting staff all being very attentive and friendly. The hotel is starting to show it's age however and could probably do with a good revamp. The room, although clean and spacious, was very tired looking, the ensuite bathroom in serious need of retiling. The bathroom also has a glass door, offering no privacy when using the loo or shower. Friendly, pleasant and welcoming, not luxury. That being said, I'd stay here again.

July 2024Allocated room 214, nice modern bathroom although the shower had little water pressure, furniture was dated and the mattress was as old as the hotel and not in the slightest comfortable due to half of it looking like it had collapsed internally. Staff were all pleasant although not given any information (when or where breakfast was) apart from where the room was when checking in. Overall the room was overpriced. Don’t be fooled by the 4 star rating it most definitely isn’t. If it had a decent mattress and the shower had enough pressure then I would have rated 5/5.

August 2024The staff, God bless them, cannot fix what is wrong here. I sincerely believe they would if they could. Our neighbour has untreated sleep apnea, which I know because I can hear all the way down his throat from the other room with windows and doors shut. He's getting maybe two minutes of actual sleep between disturbances. We've also heard his visits to the toilet and the phone calls happening in surrounding rooms and the corridor, as well as every door opening and closing. If you were hoping for a romantic encounter with your significant other, you'll need to make peace with letting the rest of the floor listen in. Room was stuffy and my partner, who is sensitive to mould, had a reaction in the first ten minutes. Spa gets a lot of foot traffic from people wearing their outdoor shoes. We looked in but did not even try it. Would not recommend it for a relaxing holiday, but it's great that the community has this facility to make up for the lack of a public swim hall. I hope Paisley Council eventually gets this neighbourhood the facilities they deserve. If it weren't for the diligent work of the price-fixing algorithm, it wouldn't be possible to brand this place as a holiday spa and hotel, but the wonders of modern technology have made it possible to pay the same for this hotel as for a room at an actual four star hotel in Glasgow center. What a time to be alive! Hotel is perfectly suited for people who are both hard of hearing and phobic of chlorinated water.

June 2024Chose this hotel due to the fact it was advertised as with spa. Quite frankly the spa was rank and quite probably a risk to public health. Will be keeping my eyes peeled for skin infections over the coming days. Also happened to be children's swimming lessons taking place - running around screaming with the parents following fully equipped in outdoor gear, including uncovered shoes. After checking it did say these were taking place on the website but also states they have a relaxing spa. Definitely wouldn't normally complain about noisy children but this is sold as a relaxing spa which it definitely is not. Hotel itself is so so and the food was also pretty poor. I'm not sure who regulates the star rating on hotels but they've definitely not been here in a while. 5 stars for location as we needed to be near the airport. Price wasn't too much. You could argue this would be reflected in the review and it definitely would have been. We would have overlooked the condition of room/hotel and the food but considering we only lasted in the "spa" the amount of time we could hold our breath we felt compelled to let others not fall for the same mistake. We have voiced our concerns to the company who owns the hotel but they are yet to reply.
