Lost my appeal to these flipping scammers.🐷 The Greater Anglia train service is an absolute joke and these guys are facilitating the scam. They deliberately take advantage of how most Londoners are used to paying by phone. The signs at Liverpool Street are practically invisible, blending in with typical platform-gate ads like camouflage. Of course, they don’t bother actually solving the problem—you know, like a responsible company would—because they’d rather cash in on penalties. Instead of letting you pay on the train like a normal service would, they jump at the chance to fine you. The fact that the staff had a photo ready to “explain” just proves this happens all the time. They KNOW people are making honest mistakes, and they’ve built a system to exploit it. Fix the signs? No chance. They’re too busy counting the money from penalties. This isn’t customer service—it’s a cash grab. Disgusting behavior.
