December 2024Since about July the gym and pool has become more and more crowded. There were constant free passes handed out and open days which ruined the vibe of the place. I heard the membership cap was reached and then raised. Just seems like a greedy corporate machine. Over crowding completely takes away from a premium price point. Now they want a £100 a month and they can't even keep the pool heated to a comfortable level. Other than the open days when they make it all toasty as they stand around with sign up forms and £ signs in there eye's! Have cancelled my membership immediately on receipt of email noting price increase. Ironically they provide 2 weeks notice of a price increase but request a full calendar month from members to cancel.
