February 2025Perfect location for the lighthouse or going shopping. Rooms are large enough to accommodate our party and the beds/sofabed was comfortable. Everywhere was very clean and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our breakfasts were included in the price and the variety on offer means there was something for everyone. Would definitely stay again.

March 2025Thank you kindly to all the lovely staff. They are genuinely caring, professional and friendly. All our needs were accomodated with grace. Honestly the best customer service I have ever encountered. Rooms clean and spacious and well maintained. Beds comfortable, bedding spotless. Bathrooms clean and well stocked. Bring your own conditioner if you need it. Vegan and vegetarian options available at breakfast and from the restaraunt subject to availability. Hotel was quiet and peaceful. Cannot commend all staff highly enough, excellent, thank you.

February 2025We loved our stay here. Sayani was extremely attentive and made us feel welcome. The breakfast was lovely and fresh. The sausages were amazing. The location is central and we were able to access shopping centres and the quayside easily. I slept really well. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was very powerful. Everything was exceptionally clean. I would definitely come back.

February 2025Don't know why this hotel has only 3.9 on here. We found the room very spacious and a spacious bathroom too. The place is spotless and the staff were so helpful with anything that we needed. The complimentary breakfast was the best complimentary breakfast I've had at a hotel and again the staff were very courteous, friendly and helpful. Anything we needed, they were only happy to oblige.

December 2024stayed for one night - someone tried to enter the hotel room at 9 am with a keycard, the door was on a chain so they couldnt enter but managed to open the door. this is a serious privacy and potentially safety concern. staff didnt seem to take it seriously, we meant to get a call from a manager but didnt. barely got apology and was told ‘it could be cleaners’, even though we opened a door few minuted later and there was no one outside and no cleaning carts etc. i do not recommend this hotel and will never stay at holiday inn ever again.
