September 2024Met the lead singer from REM at this hotel. Couldn't believe it when he walked into the foyer. Sat with him and he bought me a drink while he waited for his mate to turn up. Was only Fred Durst from Limp Biskit. Such a great hotel, will remember forever.

August 2024Stayed here for one night and can say that the room was amazing. I spoke to a lovely lady called Maria on reception and nothing I asked was too much trouble for her. Great bed. Amazing nights stay for me and my partner. Will be returning next time we are in Poole.

August 2024Be Warned, We Arrived by Ferry and Taxi late at night. The following morning I fetched a car from a car hire in Poole for our day. I received a total of 140 pounds in parking fines, 100 from the hotel's on site and only parking lot and 40 from Europcar (for sending me the fine, they said they would rescind it if my parking fine was appealed). This fine was for 44 minutes while we loaded up our car and checked out of the hotel. Egregious and poorly posted, they are also unresponsive to my email about the fine. I have friends in the area, but will obviously not be staying here unless this is made right. Otherwise an average holiday inn, but parking can cost as much as the room!
