Plush 5 star hotel in Poole, nice rooms and good facilities all round. We was here for our works Christmas party and didnt get to see all the hotel, but what we did see was very impressive overall. Worth checking out if your in the area.

Only visited for afternoon tea - a treat bought for us by my son and daughter-in-law. Sat outside on a glorious September day making good use of the fantastic views. Beautifully presented full afternoon tea. For my taste more sandwiches and fewer cakes would have been better. Scones eaten correctly with jam first then the clotted cream on top !

The room was fine and had an incredible views. The breakfast was not at all good. It was barely warm, the scrambled eggs were really very bad and the sausages and bacon could have been cooked more. Unfortunately the manager in the restaurant was quite rude in the way he spoke with the younger staff, who were all lovely, smiley and attentive.
