At the Queensgate, we see meetings in the context of people’s communication needs and how they relate to the objectives users have set for the meeting. That’s why our meeting rooms are furnished with up-to-date communication tools, plus have built in flexibility to change to suit your agenda. This is complemented by our approach aimed at easing your organisational burden. That way, you have the opportunity maintain focus on what is important for your company and have productive meetings.
All rooms are air conditioned and come complete with white boards, a variety of “creative” props, flexible lighting, white paper and other accessories. As options, you may add the video conferencing suite, full or portable projection facility, TV quality recording of your meeting in which you control the cameras, or they can be manned, or set to auto.

We also have a range of value added services, the variety of which will surprise you. These include the services of experienced coaches who can facilitate more productive meetings; or behaviour profiling (DISC) for better teamwork, or pre-interview for better candidate selection. How can we provide such a wide variety of specialist services?
In two ways; the first is that the hotel hosts a Centre of Business and Personal Excellence and so affords us the services of experienced business coaches. The second reason is that hotel’s philosophy is to act as a conduit for networking for the local community – if we can’t do it ourselves, we normally know somebody who can!
Meeting facilities we can provide include:
•meetings rooms for 2 up to 60 in luxury theater style, or can accommodate more if delegates are hosted in standard chairs

•full projection facility, with capability of two computers connected to the projector, so you can switch between the main presenter and a secondary presenter

It’s fair to say that when you book a hotel room that the facility's available should be available!! On my stay there was no evening food available but we did have a great guy called Darrell who was running around doing everything and he could not have been more helpful and had a great attitude and work ethic, running reception and running the bar helping customers he was absolutely brilliant but unfairly over worked and really needed a extra member of staff to help with the load, you should be proud to have such a member of staff to be so helpful and supportive in his job but also look at yourselves as a company to this guy in such a mad situation!! Hotel is nice clean tidy but very very under staffed I would stop again but I would advise a little bit more help at busy times

Joshua gave great bar service, very funny and entertaining person, the room (47) is a little tired, could do with a carpet clean, the light fitting thick with dust and mold spits through the bedroom and bathroom, a new shower screen should be installed ASAP as the curtain is failing leaving water to flow on the floor. Dust on the door backs, frames and behind TV just felt like nobody cares enough, these jobs only need doing once per month yet the build up indicates a lot lot longer, pretty disappointing.
HUEY
They gave the twin room we reserved to someone else and put us in a small double, I ended up having to sleep on the floor. We requested extra bedding but they didn't give us any extra pillows only a quilt. Made for a very poor night's sleep. Parking was limited but convenient. The hotel location is very convenient for a night out in Peterborough. Bar prices were horrendously high.

Potentially a great hotel due to great location to stadium and Peterborough centre. Also staff are a credit as all friendly and polite and happy to help in the grim conditions they work in. Breakfast close to being inedible, room I stayed in close to being hazardous to health. All fittings seen better days, mouldy bathroom and stained carpets. Yes it is cheap but not cheerful. Bed was comfortable though, but room with a view was not.

Room had no clothes iron, no microwave. Very small bathroom while the building is very old. We weren’t comfortable so checked out a day earlier. We approached an elderly woman who was at the counter & asked if we could get a full or partial refund, she said they had to confirm from the owner & promised they would give us a call. We never got a feedback till date Very poor service!
