Lovely festive afternoon tea today in the Oxfordshire suite. Fantastic clean and well decorated room, private so we could be as noisy as we liked. The food was excellent, great value for money and unlimited tea and coffee were included. The staff were all really friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this venue to others.

Absolutely lovely place!! Always a warm welcome from all of the staff but I have to give a special mention to Amy she always makes our stay a good one! of my favourite people! After working away 5 days a week for the last 7 years it’s lovely to be treated as a friend and not a customer!

Friendly staff but overall pretty poor. The hotel is in a nice convenient location and the public areas are modern and nicely decorated. The rooms are basic / plainly decorated and they are fairly filthy to be kind. See the attached photos. They are in despirate need of an update and lick of paint. The walls are covered in skuff marks from luggage and the carpets very dirty and worn. Tea / coffee provided was the cheapest catering sachets "freeze dried coffee" branded. Also the bedding was extremely poor with a very thin duvet and cheap synthetic pillows. For reference if the management happen to read this, it was room 204 The housekeeping service was extremely poor. The bed was rarely made properly nor toilet cleaned & no dusting for a long time as can be seen in the photos. The Wifi whilst OK when it is working makes you re-register and sign in every 24hours which is very irritating on a long stay. There really is no need for this. Once I have signed up on a device I would expect the network to remember me for the duration of my stay! I ate in the bar / restaurant on a couple of evenings and found the food to be of a poor standard and extremely overpriced. The service was friendly and efficient though. Breakfast was buffet style and was OK apart from the coffee machine which was out of order more often than not. There was also a very bad problem with flies in the breakfast area not helped by the large bowls of open yoghurt and fruit salad. It would be far better to provide eaither sealed containers or pots.

Given a parking ticket whilst eating in the restaurant - AVOID. Management told me to get in touch with parking company, parking company completely useless and told me to get back in touch with my car rental company who had already paid the fine. In the end had to get my money back through a charge back because the parking company are thieves. Complete lack of accountability and came up with complete BS to justify holding onto the money. Both the business and hotel management were absolutely pathetic.
