A premium 4 level venue, offering an independent roof terrace with beautiful views of the city, a cosy cocktail lounge and a club floor, open till 2 am on Saturdays.
Enjoy our exquisite 'Seasonal' pod, offering a cozy and exclusive setting perfect for 12-15 people. Stay warm during winter with heating, blankets, and rugs, while in the summer, the pod opens wide to provide refreshing shade from the sun.
The main terrace is spacious enough to accommodate up to 100 people, with a mix of seated and standing positions. During winter, a large section of the area has retractable covers and heating, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all guests.

Cancellation policy
1.Bookings Terms 1.1 Hire fees and Minimum Spend Payment of the deposit or hire fee confirms the private hire booking Payment of the hire fee balance and any outstanding prepayments have to be made no later than 2 weeks before the event date For any bookings made within 2 weeks of the event date the hire fees and prepayments need to be paid in full at the time of booking. All food and drink pre orders and orders on the day contribute towards the agreed minimum spend Any outstanding minimum spend that has not been reached by the end of the event will be payable within 7 days of the event taking place. 1.2 Decorations and external contractors We welcome external decorations to be brought into the venue to dress the space to your liking upon prior approval and agreement with the bookings coordinator. Exceptions for this are confetti and confetti balloons which we do not allow. Any items (including any transport and set up materials) need to be removed from the venue after your booking has ended or in some pre-arranged cases no later than 12pm the following day. 2. Cancellation 2.1 Terms of cancellation for private hire Cancellation of a private hire booking is to be made directly with the venue via phone or email contact. The cancellation becomes effective upon confirmation via email from the Bookings Coordinator. 2.2 Terms of cancellation for a drinks booking (groups of over 8 people) Cancellation of a drinks booking is to be made directly with the venue via phone or email contact. The cancellation becomes effective upon confirmation via email from the Bookings Coordinator. If a booking is canceled within 48 hours of the booking date, the deposit paid for the booking will not be refunded. If a booking is canceled before 48 hours of the booking date, the deposit paid for the booking will be fully refunded. In case of incomplete arrivals, the deposit will not be refunded but can still be used as a drinks tab. Please be advised, we can only hold tables for up to 15 minutes from your booking time, for any late arrivals. 2.3 Refunds A refund of the hire fee and any additional pre payments are subject to the following terms. It is at the discretion of the venue to vary these terms - for example if the event can be rescheduled for an alternative date. cancellation more than 2 months in advance - 100% refund cancellation more than 1 month in advance - 50% refund cancellation more than 2 weeks in advance - 25% refund cancellation less than 2 weeks in advance - no refund

We do not allow confetti our confetti balloons in the decorations brought by clients. Photo ID required. Dress code is smart casuals.

We rented the private bar on level 2 for a birthday celebration. The whole evening went fantastically well, thanks to all of the staff who were friendly and attentive to all our requests. The food provided was lovely and everyone enjoyed. Great selections of drinks at the bar. All the booking and interaction with the managers was easy and friendly. Would highly recommend.

My wife and two of her friends held a joint birthday party on 1st Floor of Varsity on September 7th. It was fantastic; location, atmosphere and service were all excellent. Everyone at Varsity was as friendly and helpful in the run up to the event as they were on the night. The band I am in played live at the venue and the sound was great - thanks to an excellent and easy to use PA system. So huge thanks to Alex and the team at Varsity

Hosted a group of about 30 people here two years in a row and both times it was amazing. We’ve gone in August both times which is an extremely busy time in Oxford. The Varsity Club group was absolutely exceptional with planning and service. All of the staff are extremely friendly, welcoming and overall just want you to have a great time. Cocktails are amazing and food is delicious. If you plan on hosting a group or even visiting Oxford, Varsity Club is a must. They have a rooftop section with beautiful views of the city. Highly recommend!
