This hotel is one of few Oxfordshire venues to offer outdoor ceremonies for weddings, so you can choose to say your vows outside on the intimate lawn, surrounded by the enchanting gardens.
The hotel itself has three wonderful banqueting suites, so whether you are planning a small affair or a larger celebration, it has the perfect space to host your guests. We can accommodate receptions up to 180 people.

December 2024We had a lovely night staying here! A very warm welcome at reception and in the bar from an all round very attentive team. Our room was spotless, stylish and comfortable. We really enjoyed discovering the Skywave gin and vodka too!

December 2024What an amazing stay at the hotel. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel extremely welcome and nothing was to much trouble. We had a lovely meal in the hotel restaurant which was delicious and was served by an amazing lady called Wendy. Wendy went out of her way all day to make sure we had everything we needed and was genuinely one of the nicest people we have ever met. What an amazing credit to the hotel she is. Thankyou for a wonderful stay.

November 2024This is the best hotel I’ve ever seen in Oxford. The building itself has a super cozy energy - especially in the winter months… the fire place & decorations are straight out of a film! The rooms are super big and warm and clean. Dogs are welcome, hotel parking is great 👏 Finally - the best part of the hotel is the staff. So caring everybody - they make you feel like home. We want to especially thank Jim from the night reception for his kindness and wonderful energy! 1000% stay here if you’re in Oxford on a work or vacation trip! Thank you!!!

October 2024The service was exemplary. The staff couldn’t do more for us on our stay. Setting up breakfast early so we could eat before the Oxford Half, and going above and beyond when we had requests. The restaurant staff were wonderful, friendly and courteous. Food was great, highly recommend breakfast :) The lady overseeing breakfast was very kind and remembered faces and asked how you were. We stayed in a lovely room with plenty of amenities. Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing stay. The hotel is also well situated for getting into the city centre with a bus service close by, but was situated in a quieter area.

November 2024Quite disappointed with this hotel. The staff were quite rude and didn't show any care for customers. Got locked out of our room after our first night of two and had to wait for two couples to check-in before being helped. Quite frustrating. The room was okay but the bathroom was grubby and could do with a deep clean. There was a red wine like stain on the sink basin. Dirty bath and plug hole. Had food at the hotel on first night and do not recommend this. I ordered pizza and I just couldn't eat it as it was thick of cheese. Really awful. Ordered wine and sent it back as lipstick on the glass. On our first night there was an event on until early hours that we didn't know about. The DJ was loud and went on until early hours. This interrupted my sleep several times and I was quite annoyed. Nobody offered to help with bags and I don't think anyone on reception even said goodbye when we checked out. Just rude.
