Great place, friendly helpful staff and food always good. We've been quite often and had a few different meals and they are all good. At the moment ( up to the end of February) if you book a table the food is half price it was exactly the same as full price and the meals were thoroughly enjoyed by all 4 of us. Plenty of parking. Will definitely be back soon.

We had the house for a girly weekend. It was perfect! So much room. Could definitely fit a few more beds in! All really clean, well kitted out and on top of that the hotel/bar and restaurant is next door so we had a fab meal in there first. The hot tub was the icing on the cake for sure. Definitely be booking again!!

Not Wheelchair Accessible I contacted this hotel in advance to confirm wheelchair accessibility, as I was attending an evening event, and was assured that it was accessible. However, upon arrival, I encountered two makeshift homemade ramps that were far too steep, causing my wheelchair to tip. I also became trapped in the lift because the exit door opened against a wall. Apparently, they usually open the gym door opposite to create enough space to navigate out, but on this occasion, it was closed. The toilet situation was equally problematic. The entrance to the toilet was blocked by numerous chairs and tables, located down a corridor, and up two steps to a standard toilet—not suitable for wheelchair users. It was as if they hadn’t considered that I might need the facilities during the event. I contacted the owner to address these issues, but instead of a direct response, I received an email from reception. After expressing my dissatisfaction, a manager eventually got in touch. I made several reasonable suggestions for improvement, such as installing proper ramps and keeping pathways clear, but these have been ignored. 3 months later, I am still waiting to hear from the owner to whom I addressed my email so I have decided to review as they are not taking my concerns seriously. If you use a wheelchair, I strongly recommend booking elsewhere. Fortunately, I am ambulatory and managed with great difficulty, but had I been less mobile, I wouldn’t have made it past the entrance. See images for my full story & their response.
