Oakmere Park Golf Club

What a course, what a club house, driving range amazing and large. Practice putting green awesome. The food guys was out of this world best beef pie I have had in my life and I have had more then a few. Well done team Oakmere you should be very proud of what you have to offer.

Went to try out the driving range. Have never tried before. It was fun.

Adrimal course. Driving range was a decent standard, nice club house etc. Starter was a really nice fella, and the reason I gave 3 instead of two stars. Front 9 was decent and made decent pace 1:30hrs bit of a strange hole the 9th but not a deal breaker. That’s where it all went down hill we arrived at the 10th with two groups starting of the there and they were all over the place think they lost a ball in every hole the first group even lost their mobile which we found. So we then had to wait on every tee and every fairway and the group behind wanted us to play faster so totally ruined my round, and we did back 9 in 3:15hr The bunkers look decent but hide danger I stood in six inches of sand but when I splashed my ball there was maybe 10mm of sand covering what I assume is concrete based fortunately I’ve strong wrists I think many would have been injured. I don’t think it’s right to shove two groups out infront of people like that it’s unfair. Course conditions where reasonable other than the greens which where quiet poor unfortunately. Over all I think my score is really fair. I wouldn’t return.
