December 2024My wife took her mother and mine for a festive tea today. The booking process was simple managed by the events team. All 3 had lovely time. The food was great and the service exemplary Many thanks to all involved

January 2025Had Sunday Lunch and had a great experience. Dan was excellent, and so polite and helpful. Kept us fully informed about the days menu and made sure that we were happy with the service. An absolute credit to Woodland Manor. We will definitely visit again.

January 2025Room not fit for purpose. We were allocated a double bedroom which when you click on the pictures show a perfectly nice room with a double bed and bedside table on either side of the bed. The pictures online also show exactly the same configuration for a small double bedroom, however the room we were allocated was not fit for purpose. the room was tiny and certainly did not have space for a bedside table on both sides of the bed in fact the space between the bed and the wall was less than 30 cm, when my husband had to get out of bed during the night it was so tight that he smashed his head on the wall. The bed was not a double bed. The base was for a double bed but the mattress that had been placed on top of it left massive gap on each side. This can be seen in the photograph. I’m providing . There was a tray on a small console table with coffee and tea but the plug would not meet the socket and when I moved it the state of the table underneath was appalling. . The only mirror in the room was a small mirror in the ensuite and no full length mirror was available at all as the room was so small there was no room for a wardrobe or drawers and all that was provided was a small rail .The tap in the ensuite was not properly fixed and was wobbly. when we took this issue out with two separate members of staff. They both independently said that they have had a lot of complaints about the room that we were given, however when we emailed management, they have been totally unhelpful
