The Rathskeller is a beautiful grade 1 listen building situated along the quayside in King's Lynn. The five different event spaces make it the perfect venue for a variety of different events as well as being able to host large scale events that require different areas. Our in-house event planner will be your primary contact through the entire planning and duration of the event to ensure that everything runs smoothly, exactly the way you want it to.
Overlooking the River Great Ouse along the King's Lynn Quayside The Rathskeller is ideal for picturesque photos before, during and after your event. Kings Lynn has good rail links including a direct train from London via Cambridge with the train station being just a short walk from The Rathskeller. There is paid parking available round the back of the building as well as parking along the quay front and a large car park slightly further down the road.
The Rathskeller is famed for its live music and festival style events, these go particularly well in the beer garden during summer and down in the Cellar Bar. The Cellar bar has a characterful, fun vibe which is perfect for entertaining clients in a less formal setting as well as product launches and fun company away days. We also have fantastic spaces for private dining, corporate meetings and more formal situations. The Ceremony room is licensed for weddings and is next door to the large gallery room which works perfectly for smaller scale weddings followed by the reception.

The Gallery is our open hall ideal for larger receptions and it has a a capacity of up to 120 people. It's an excellent space for corporate dining, business events, conferences and meetings. It's also ideal for wedding receptions with the ceremony in The Ceremony Room followed by a wedding breakfast in The Gallery.
80 guests can be seated comfortably and a pop up bar can be added to the space.
