Fabulous afternoon tea at the Poets House in Ely. We arrived early, no problem, table was sorted quickly and we were seated with some drinks. Afternoon tea is delicious with traditional finger sandwiches of cheese/chutney, smoked salmon, and egg mayo/cucumber. Also a selection of fresh scones with clotted cream and jam and delicious 2 (or 1 in some cases) bite cakes to finish off. Enough to fill you up if you're hungry and a takeaway box for any leftovers as we did. Great for couples of family's as kids are welcome, some were present at the time we visited and they seemed to indulge(!)
