What can I say to such a beautiful place. The staff were amazing, so friendly and attentive. The food was gorgeous, especially the Sunday lunch, so tasty. The cocktails may not be 2 for 1 like a lot of places in Newcastle, but they are made so beautifully. Will definitely be back to see our lovely scouser Lois. Thanks to everyone at the Botanist Newcastle xx

I love this place!! Great drinks and atmosphere. Good food, though a tad overpriced. It's always on my visit list when I am in town!

Amazing experience. Booked a table so got seated on the balcony away from all the crowded bar with such a good view, could see the live music. Got our food so quick. Food was so good. A very nice burger, tasted alot more fresh than other restaurants visited in newcastle. (i get mine plain with cheese which is why it looks the way it does) 😭

I have visited The Botanist before for a few beers (not the best selection hence the 4 stars.. better beer selection would o made it a 5 star). But not for food until a meet up with my sitting for a late lunch n av gotta say the food (whilst yes it was expensive) was absolutely tremendous so much so I went for a bottle of Red wine which complimented the steak (which was cooked medium rare n just the way I like it) perfectly. Will I return? If the chance arises.. yes

Lovely but extremely expensive when the majority of your £10 drinks are 90% ice. I attended a birthday there and the food that was provided was lovely. Again let down by the fact they provided no serving utensils so people literally took to taking handfuls of chips when they could have supplied tongs. There was also nothing to scoop the dips onto your plate with.
