Eve of Hades
This is one of the absolute best places I've visited & it's not just the history & beauty of the Manor, but all due to the reenactors who really brought the life & history of the house to life! My family & I would absolutely love to visit again!

Such a wonderful day, spent at this treasure of a place. The enactors bring a rare dimension to the experience, enlivened by conversation and extra information. The intimacy of a family home makes a pleasant change from castles and palaces; such a shame that Caerfili Council intend to close this wonderful place in December.

What an amazing piece of local history. The staff are lovely with a massive knowledge of the history of the property and what life was like. The food in the cafe is lovely. Shame on caerphilly council for mothballing the venue next month. One of the most active paranormal investigations I've ever been part of.
