The home of the Wynne Bankes family for over 200 years, Soughton combines the atmosphere of a cherished family home with the luxury of a boutique country retreat – perfect for social and business events. Known as Wales's very own Downton Abbey due to its connection to the architect Sir Charles Barry who worked on the property back in 1820.

September 2024Best day of my life. Venue is unbelievable, staff are professional, kind and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Food was phenomenal and the synchronised serving was a classy touch. The place was impeccable, inside and out. The day ran smoothly and I had complete faith in Erin & Cheryl, I’m actually really sad my wedding is over and I had to leave, can’t wait to return. If I could give more stars I would, highly highly recommend if you want the wedding of your dreams.

September 2024We got married at Soughton Hall In August and the day was perfect from start to finish. All the staff were friendly and attentive and nothing was ever too much trouble. I would like to say a special thank you to Cheryl and Jen though.We met Cheryl and Jen on several occasions before our wedding and on every visit they were so welcoming. Our daughter is visually impaired so it was important for her to get to know the layout of Soughton Hall well before our wedding, that way she could feel confident about her surroundings on the day. This was no problem at all and all the staff at Soughton Hall made us feel welcome on each and every visit. Cheryl was fantastic on our wedding day! She made sure we had everything we needed right throughout the day. Even when we were the last ones standing at 1am, she still made sure we had everything we needed before she finished work for the night. Jen was our wedding coordinator and she was fab! From the moment we met her we knew we were in good hands. Jen was fab throughout the whole planning process and on the the wedding day. She was also always quick to reply to my emails. We can't thank the team at Soughton Hall enough for everything they did for us! we are a little bit sad though that it's all over and we won't be visiting Soughton Hall as much as we did before.
