July 2024Lovely Hotel in a good location. Lots of shops, bars, restaurant local. Parking across the road was £16 for 3 days with ringgo which I thought was good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable. Slept really well!! Shower pressure wasn't the greatest and if you like a bath they are very shallow. Ate in the restaurant twice and food was lovely.

July 2024Good location but the place is old, dated and rundown. Beds and mattresses are very noticeably worn, uneven and lumpy. Bathroom is not great, low shower pressure and the same worn feel with chipped toilet, basin and bath. No toilet brush. Breakfast is ok, but everything feels unclean, sticky floors and tables and semi broken chairs. With the odd exception, reception staff is uninspired to help customers, always seeming busier with other things. It’s clear the place needs some investment to get it up to being a 4 star hotel.
