Cancellation policy

1. Cancellation by the Client: In the unfortunate circumstances that you have to cancel, postpone or reduce your confirmed booking at any time prior to the event, the hotel’s cancellation policy is to require payment of 90% of contracted accommodation and room hire and 65% of contracted food and beverage revenue, this represents compensation for the loss of profit sustained by the hotel as a result of the cancellation. The sum is payable on cancellation. Any cancellation, postponement or partial cancellation should be advised to the management of the hotel in writing. The hotel will make every effort to re-sell the facilities and will subsequently reduce the cancellation charge (by way of a refund) by the profit recovered on any alternative business we have been able to secure to replace the cancelled booking. 2. Accommodation: Unless specifically GUARANTEED by the client, the hotel may release any accommodation booked (including delegate accommodation) if not taken up by 6:00pm on the day of arrival. The hotel when we arrived was very tidy. After reading previous reviews I was really unsure what to expect. We checked in at a speedy pace and got our key cards and went to the room. We had windows in our room. The room was tidy and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was taking longer than expected to heat up but once we left it for 10 minutes turned on it worked away fine. The water was hot and all staff were lovely. The key card did stop working but that was a minor hiccup. Over all, very happy with our stay.

I've received good service from start to finish. The room was perfect for what I booked. The bar offered 2 cocktails for £7 which was perfect. I had been out drinking and even had a bit of fun ☺️ needed a refreshing drink upon my return 🍹

stayed for 2 nights in with family just as a city break, lobby was nice with mediocre service time, oddly had to provide ID to enter, we had booked a room with a double bed and two singles. We personally had no problems with the room as it was clean, nice beds, our only issue was it got quite hot. Booked breakfast for both mornings and was standard english breakfast especially for £12 sausage, bacon, egg, toast, beans, hash brown etc for a cheap night in central manchester you really can’t complain. Many people i see leaving negative reviews have stayed in rooms with no windows( you see that when booking) definitely an above average hotel nothing special but worth it if you are only really planning on being there for the night and morning.

This place is not as bad... I paid £79.00 for a double executive room. It was tidy, bed was comfortable and it had lots of space. The security guys always kind, they even recommended me places to visit as I was new in the city. The only problem was the check in, I couldn't understand the receptionist and I was so tired, I only wanted to sleep to I paid another £12.00 and I don't even know why. And for 2 days, they "tested" the fire alarms at 10:30 am (Check out is at 11:00 am) They definitely wanted to wake up people with the fire alarm to check out. But in general, it was good enough for a few nights if you're just on holidays and out in the city all day.

Do not, under any circumstances, stay here in a room without a window. We had a stay here for one night, as it was a convenient location for a show we were seeing the next day. We were prepared for a minimal experience to save on costs, but the conditions in the windowless rooms really shouldn't be legal. The room was boiling hot - it must have been well over 30 degrees, even with two tabletop fans running. The only system in the room was a heater, we were told, which was turned off. There was no other ventilation, even in the bathroom. Not only is this uncomfortable (an understatement if there ever was one), but it boggles the mind how it isn't considered a major carbon monoxide risk. The only fix the hotel had was to give us a second fan, which can only help so much. Additionally, we were briefly trapped in an elevator after the doors snapped shut and wouldn't open. After prying them open again, we alerted the desk staff and used the stairs for the remainder of our stay. The person who left to check the elevator returned in minutes, before we even had a chance to leave the desk. We are overall putting this down as a learning experience and focusing on the positives of our time in the city outside of the hotel. I would personally suggest anyone who reads this also learns from our mistake.
