Fantastic first stay at Whitworth Locke! All staff are amazingly friendly and helpful, and couldn't do enough for us. A lovely touch provided to celebrate our anniversary also (thanks again). Even managed to check in ahead of the usual 4pm as the room was ready as we arrived to drop the bags off at 1.15. Room (one bedroom suite) was spacious, and extremely clean with everything you could possibly need. Bed was comfy, bathrobes are a lovely touch, shower was powerful and warm. Room location was very quiet. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will certainly look to stay again.

My new go to hotel in Manchester. I stay in Manchester for work frequently and like to try different hotels. The Whitworth Locke has everything. Studio apartment had everything you need for a long or short stay, even a washing machine and dishwasher. Superbly decorated and furnished, Most comfortable hotel bed I've slept in. The building itself has a very interesting classy industrial vibe. The staff were all Superb, friendly and helpful. The bar in the atrium was a great place to finish our evening out, we sampled some familiar whisky and some wonderful Danish whisky recommended by the excellent bar staff who were engaging and passionate. Will book here in future when staying in Central Manchester and recommended to colleagues who are coming from Poland next month.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and even gave some great food recommendations, which was a nice touch. The check-in process was smooth and easy. The room itself was spotless and very spacious, with everything you could need for a longer stay—stove, full fridge, washing machine, and even a dishwasher. We were only there for one night, but it would be perfect for a longer visit. The bed was really comfortable, and the dining area in the room was a great addition. The only minor downside was that the room wasn’t very soundproof, so outside noise was noticeable. However, this wasn’t a huge issue—earplugs would easily solve it. The bar was reasonably priced, and Foundation Coffee was a standout, with excellent coffee, pastries, and friendly service. Overall, a fantastic place to stay in a brilliant location. I’ll definitely be returning!

Used to love staying here.. was great. Now they are just another corporate company who don't care about the customers they have. I made a genuine mistake on a booking, booked for July instead of August, within the same day of booking I asked them for help to move the booking back by 1 month and they won't help at all. I have stayed at Whitworth many times and other Locke's around Europe. You have unfortunately lost a loyal customer who used to tell everyone how great you are. So disappointed.
