Venue at Cornerstone provides competitively priced rooms, perfect for meetings, team building, networking, and training. Our adaptable spaces cater to your unique business needs.
Venue@Cornerstone is a non-profit service within the Stockport Homes Group (SHG), which has a broader social mission beyond just being a housing provider. SHG's strategy is "One team, transforming lives," and it invests resources to deliver economic, environmental, and social benefits for individuals and communities through its services and projects.
Conveniently situated on the ground floor of Stockport Homes, our versatile event space is just a 5-minute walk from the local train station and just an 11-minute train ride from Manchester Piccadilly. The venue is near to the new bus interchange, with limited parking available in the surrounding paid car parks.
We offer a total of three rooms and two larger areas available for hire. All our spaces are and can comfortably accommodate up to 60 guests in a cabaret setup or 85 in a theatre arrangement. Each room is soundproofed, equipped with AV technology and superfast broadband.
Clients can easily reach us by phone, email, or through our website. When enquiring to book one of our rooms, please provide the date(s), audience size, and timeframe. We offer half-day and full-day options, with the greatest value in our full-day bookings.
Our standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm. However, we're happy to consider hiring out the venue space outside of these hours for an additional fee, should your event require.
