The Monastery Manchester is managed by the same charitable trust that saved it from dereliction 23 years ago. All profits from events go back into the community outreach projects and restoration work on the Grade II* listed building.

November 2019Everything was perfect for my get together, all the ladies enjoyed themselves thoroughly. The table settings were lovely and the food was excellent. We even had a sing in the Nave. We couldn’t believe when it was time for us to leave even the sun shone so we could walk in the Healing Garden. Thank you so much for making my day so pleasurable I will not hesitate to recommend the Monastery for a function and I am sure a lot of the ladies will be back. Thanks again Ann

August 2024What can I say? The team at this place is next level, gold standard and have no problems in going above and beyond. My newly wed husband and I got married on a weekend in August and it couldn’t have gone smoother. Sure there were a few glitches, but it was an Indian marriage and they have a different time scale to the western world! Huge shout out to Kate and Neil who helped organise and run the show. Kate has been involved right from the very start and she has been so patient with us and we appreciate every last little thing she’s done for us. Our family and friends were incredibly impressed with the venue and how smooth the day went - and it’s all a nod to the wonderful staff who were there on the day. We couldn’t have picked a better team to share our day with. Thankyou to The Monastery and we hope to see you again!

June 2024If you get the opportunity to attend a music event at The Monastery...do it! The high ceilings provide for fantastic acoustics. The facilities provided are fabulous, the venue is clean and there are adequate facilities avoiding queues.
