Some scenes and stories truly touched me during my visit, and you get a chance to feel closer to the legends. You're sure to enjoy it!

October 2024The National Football Museum in Manchester is a must-visit for any football fan. It’s packed with football history and interactive exhibits that offer a fun experience for visitors of all ages. The museum is easily accessible from Exchange Square or Victoria tram stops, and there are four floors to explore. The first two floors feature a variety of fascinating exhibits, while the third floor is dedicated to interactive games, including a penalty shootout and skills challenges – perfect for kids and adults alike. My 6-year-old had a blast! The top floor houses an art exhibition, and there’s also a shop and café on the ground floor to relax after your tour. Plan to spend at least an hour to fully enjoy everything. Booking tickets online is recommended for a discount. Highly recommend this spot for a great day out!

What we initially thought would be a quick one-hour stop ended up stretching into an entire afternoon, as there was so much to explore and enjoy. A special mention goes to James, who greeted us at the first exhibition. He was incredibly helpful, approachable, and passionate about his work, offering us a wealth of information. What stood out was how he took the time to connect with us on a personal level, asking about our backgrounds. As a Leicester City supporter married to a Man U fan, we especially appreciated his thoughtful guidance to relevant exhibitions and the engaging conversations about our own footballing memories. January 2025The museum basically exhibited nothing. Only uninteresting stories or universally known facts that can be found online. The foosball did not work as well. The posting about Ji Sung was insulting. I could not imagine how such a boring museum charges. I recommend science and industry museum at Manchester instead, which is a public and free one.
